Doris Viola Cassie passed away Feb. 3, 2016 at Gillette Nursing Home. She was born Nov. 7, 1920 in Warren, Ohio,the oldest child of Don and Jessie Dixon and lived in the area most of her life.
She is survived by daughters Joann Riel, Laverne Walker and Rene' (Michael) Marsh, and sons Lawrence (Anita) Brabant and David Brabant. Also surviving are siblings Elizabeth (Raymond) Budrevich, Mary Ellen Csernik, James (Mary Ann) Casey and Charles Casey as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Doris was predeceased by husbands Lawrence Brabant and Eugene Cassie, son Robert Brabant, three sisters and two brothers.

A memorial service in her honor will be held at a later date at Christ Community Church in Campbell. Ohio with Pastor Daniel Yargo presiding.
