Doris Archer Keller

She was born March 20, 1935, in Sistersville, West Virginia, a daughter of the late John and Mona (Kyle) Archer. Doris was an active member of the Ravenna Freewill Baptist Church and retired from the Ravenna GE Plant. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Doris also enjoyed cooking, gardening, being with her dogs, and feeding the birds.

She is survived by her husband Carl Keller; her children: Mona (Bob) Graves, Lynda (David) McIntyre both of Rootstown, Dianne (Ian) Warring and adopted son: Ronald (Jean) Zickefoose both of Ravenna; grandchildren: Shelley Smith, Philip Rader, David McIntyre, Dawn Banks, Jennifer Germann, Chad Howard, Rachel Starr, Sarah Foster, Zach Pepperton, Robert Keller, Isaac Keller, and Leanne Keller; also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, 2 step-sons, her brothers: Roy Gene (Eleanor) Archer, Chauncey (Ruth) Archer, and her sisters: Louise Slaughter and Sarah Longwell.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-mother Ethel.

Friends will be received Sunday, July 18, 2010, from 3:00 – 6:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where funeral services will be officiated by Reverend Jack Taylor on Monday at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
