Doris C. Stephenson

She was born July 18, 1924, in Charlestown, Ohio, to parents Otto and Catherine (Mueller) Stephenson. Doris was a kind, loving, and gentle person, who will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her twin sister Dorothy Freidhof of Pittsburgh, PA, her brothers Robert (Ethel) Stephenson of Fairlawn and Paul (Joan) Stephenson of California, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Mary Traska and Ruth Velka, and her brothers-in-law Robert Freidhof and Steve Velka.

Doris’ wishes for cremation have been honored, and a memorial service will be officiated by Rev. Bill Wisniewski on Saturday, April 9, 2016, at 12:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Inurnment will follow at Charlestown Cemetery.
