Edgar H. Bixler

Ed was born in Canton, Ohio on May 7, 1963.

Surviving Ed is his wife of 35 years, Traci Bixler, his dog Penny his mother Dorothy Bixler, sister Michelle (Dave) White, Mother-n-law Janet Nestich, brother-in-law Frank Nestich, and multiple nieces, nephews and many cousins.

Preceding Ed in death was his father-in-law Jim Nestich.

Ed worked at Republic Services as a Diesel mechanic for 11 plus years. He lived a life of service, starting from his work ethic, which was always exemplary, down to his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.

He had a life-long passion for NASCAR racing. He always wanted to race himself and by the grace of God, he was able to do just that. He raced a dwarf car at Deerfield Raceway for 7 years, winning Track Champion in 2007 with his Wife, mother and sister by his side as his pit crew. Most of all, he was a dedicated husband and dog dad. He loved spending all his spare time in his back yard with his wife and dogs. Ed and his wife Traci shared 4 dogs together over the years, Bubba, Kira, and Booger who are now gone, and his new dog Penny that remains with his wife Traci.

Rest in Peace my love, until Penny & I get to see you again. You are loved and you will be missed every moment of every day for the rest of my life. I love you and may God bless you keep you by his side.

Per his wishes, cremation been honored and a Celebration of his Life will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 2-5pm at Mulligan Springs Golf Course, 2205 Congress Lake Rd, Mogadore, OH 44260.
