Edith M Herchek

(Coler) DeGroff. She was a graduate of Atwater High School.

Edith worked for the Portage County Commissioners office as a secretary for many years. She enjoyed reading and watching the birds and loved to be surrounded with pretty flowers. She enjoyed old

movies and westerns. Her family was her biggest enjoyment, especially her grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Edith is preceded in death by her husband John G. Herchek, her brother Merle DeGroff and sisters; Helen Thacker, Alice Boldizar, Mary Combs and Meda Osco.

Edith is survived by her sons, John (Pamm) Herchek, Jim (Lisa) Herchek, and Mark (Desiree) Herchek; her beloved grandchildren; Bethey, Tom, Jeff, Haley, and Erik and great grandchildren Charlie, Graham & Virginia.

A committal service will be held at 10AM, Friday, September 29th in the chapel of Hillside Cemetery in Randolph.
