Edward Allen Tomasik

Ed was born March 16, 1956 in Akron, Ohio to Jerome and Delores (Thompson) Tomasik.

Ed was self-employed a machinist for many years. He enjoyed walking, gardening, and handy work around the house. Ed was found of dogs, he had several k-9 companions over the years.

Ed is preceded in death by his father, Jerome, and his brothers, Rick and Ron Tomasik.

Ed is survived by his mother Delores, his daughter Aleisha (John) Dalessandro; his grandson, Tristen; and his granddaughter, Julia. Ed will also be missed by his sisters Carole Berry, Kathy Makary, Sherry (Jim) Kalcic; and his brothers Tom (Jan) Tomasik and John (Coletta) Tomasik; several nieces, nephews, and good friends.

His partner and companion of 14 years, Susan Prentice, was by his side along the way.

Funeral services will be 11AM Tuesday, August 15th at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St. in Ravenna; where friends and family may call from 10AM until the time of service. Interment in Restland Cemetery.
