Eric James Ess

He was born January 10, 1953, in Akron, Ohio, to parents Walter and Dolores (Larko) Ess. Eric was a physician’s assistant at Akron General Hospital for several years. Eric loved music and playing his guitar. He enjoyed long distance running in his earlier years. Lately, he enjoyed the peacefulness of a secluded lifestyle.

Eric is survived by his daughters: Colleen (Ben) Wilson and Michelle (Travis Keeton) Ess, his grandchildren: Haleigh, Leah, Liberty, and Liam, who is expected any day now. He is also survived by his siblings: Jay (Cindy) Ess, Arlene Staiger, Clara Main, Rita (Nick) Verlotta, and Laura (Tony) Beemiller, along with many nieces and nephews.

Eric was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Bobby Ess.
