Gary Lynn Highman

He was born July 24, 1951, in Graysville, Ohio, to parents Edsel and Bessie Irene (Allen) Highman. Gary graduated from Skyview High School and then moved to northeast Ohio.

He was Christian in faith and a truck driver by trade. He was working for Hybud Equipment in Akron until a workplace accident forced his retirement.

Gary enjoyed playing the guitar and playing video games, especially Crash Bandicoot. He could tell if a tire needed air by thumpin it. Most of all, Gary enjoyed hanging out with his family and friends.

Gary is survived by his daughter Crystal Highman, his son Charles Highman, his granddaughter Cassidy Highman, as well as his siblings: Nancy (Bob) Kelly, Shirley (Mark) Oxley, and Dave (Louann) Highman, along with many nieces and nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Brenda Highman.

His wishes for cremation are being honored. Service details will be announced shortly.
