Gerald "Jerry" Maurus Kline

He was born February 6, 1953, in Ravenna, Ohio, to Stanley and Margaret Kline. He grew up in Randolph, Ohio, where he met the love of his life, Peggy May, in first grade at St. Joseph’s School. They married in 1974 and had two daughters Denise and Shelby.

Jerry worked at Kenmore Research in Ravenna for 26 years and then drove over the road for Horning Trucking and dump truck for Patrick Excavating. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren Jacob Miller, Miranda Miller, Nicholas Miller, Anna Schlue, Cecelia Schlue, Zane Schlue. He enjoyed being a snowbird with Peggy at their home in Florida for six months out of the year and riding his bike.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents Stanley J. and Margaret M. (Englehart) Kline, brothers John Kline and Michael (Jeanette) Kline. He is survived by his wife Peggy, daughters Denise (Brian) Miller and Shelby (Richard) Schlue, sisters Patricia (Jim) Matti, and Jean (Dennie) Clouse.

Family and friends will be received Thursday, November 30, 2023, Randolph Senior Center, at 1657 OH-44, Atwater, OH 44201 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM.
