She was born January 22, 1950, in Ravenna, Ohio, a daughter of the late Averill F. and Virginia (McDougal) Scott. Gerry enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son Michael (Deanna) Watters Sr. of Ravenna; step-children: Linda Williams, David (Margaret) Watters, Karen (Alex) McClay, Dennis (Renee) Watters, Denise Long, Gary (Debra) Watters, Robin (Robert) Matthews; brother: James (Sue) Scott; and grandchildren: Michael Watters Jr. and Samantha Watters.
Gerry was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Watters, her parents, and her sister.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 18, 2012, at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna.
