Dear Kunar Family, I am so saddened to hear that our sister in higher education has been taken from all of us.  One of my treasured relationships has always been knowing Glenda and marveled at her energy and dedication to her many academic pursuits.  She shall always remain a wonderful friend in education and the girl who gave so much of herself.  Bill and I moved down to central Florida in the early 2000's and are still enjoying our days here. Mrs. Kunar was one of the finest teachers I had at Ravenna. She taught me everything I needed to know about business and indirectly influenced me to continue in that route. Glenda was such a Godly influence in my life being in the Missions group at FUMC. She was always friendly to everyone.. My husband had the chance to know her in college when she was his teacher and he really enjoyed her. God Bless her and her family..

I have so many wonderful memories both personal and professional of my friend Glenda that will remain with me the rest of my life. We met when we taught together at Kent State Univ (Trumbull Campus) and traveled to many professional conventions/meetings together.  We shared so much!  I will miss her in my life, and she will never be forgotten...Glenda told me many times that we were like sisters!  What a compliment!  My condolences to the Kunar family! Dear Paul and Family,
Since the bad weather will keep me from calling hours today, I am taking this opportunity to let you know how much Glenda was loved and respected in the academic community she served for so many years.  I first met her when she taught at KSU's Warren Campus.  Her enthusiasm and dedication to teaching was infectious. We quickly became colleagues and friends.  When she moved to YSU, our relationship continued as we attended NBEA National Conferences together through the years with our special group of colleagues. Glenda also gave wonderful leadership as president and board member to the Northeastern Ohio Chapter of Delta Pi Epsilon,a national educational research fraternity, for which I was chapter sponsor. Also, I felt honored to be asked by Glenda to serve on her dissertation committee when she pursued her doctorate at KSU.  Glenda was the consummate professional, always going the extra mile for her students and collegues. She was a devoted and loving colleague whom so many of us held in high esteem.  A group of us retired female professors from KSU meet a few times each year for lunch to keep in touch, and Glenda joined us when she was in town.  We have missed her being there these last few years for health reasons but continued to keep in touch with her through email and phone calls.  She will be greatly missed by all of us.

On a personal note, Glenda and I often talked about spiritual matters, our Christian faith and God's blessings in our lives so I know that though she is absent from her body, she is present with her Lord; and I look forward to seeing her again one day.  You will be missed, Glenda, but always loved by those of us at KSU who knew you so well.

Dear Kunar Family,
I would like to express my condolences to all of you during this difficult time.
Dr. Kunar was one of the best professors, advisors, and friend one could ask for at Youngstown State University.  When I first walked into her office at YSU in 1997 she had a smile and a personality I will never forget.  After talking with me for quite some time, I could tell she had a passion for education, and this passion was expressed when Dr. Kunar taught many of my computer science classes.  Not only was she an exceptional educator, she was a great advisor one who was dedicated and who taught me many life lessons to becoming a business education teacher.  
I do know one thing, not only did Dr. Kunar love education and her students, she loved her family and her grandchildren.  She always had a story to tell about Mr. Kunar, her children, and most importantly her grandchildren.  
May God bless all of you during this difficult time.  Dr. Kunar will truly be missed!
