He was born January 3, 1942, in Alliance, Ohio, to parents Harold John and Clara (Eberle) Wachsman. Sonny retired as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. He was a decorated veteran of the US Army serving in the Vietnam War.
Sonny is survived by his sisters: Sandy (Tom) Pryor, Diane (Tim) Wise, and Edwina (Chuck) Brown, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
