

She was born May 10, 1928, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Charles and Anna (Coldwill) Michael. Helen served as a Palmyra Township Trustee for two terms and was an active member of the Order of Eastern Star Palmy Chapter. She attended Palmyra United Methodist Church and was a former owner of Southeast Trucking.
Helen was also a member of the Lake Milton American Legion Auxiliary, where she ran the lunch counter for many years and helped with the fish fry’s. For several decades, Helen volunteered as an election poll worker. Her hobbies included bowling and playing Bingo.
Helen is survived by her daughter Joanne (Hugh) Holley, her grandchildren: Angela (Stephen) Grachanin, Dana Reagan, David (Allison) Reagan, and Duke (Elizabeth) Reagan, as well as 8 great-grandchildren. Other surviving family members include her brother Wilbur (Jackie) Michael, her sister Doris (James) Hershberger, along with many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her son Ronald Reagan, her brothers Charlie, Henry, Howard, Robert, and Jimmy Michael, her sister Ruth Leibforth, and her former husband Carl Reagan.
Friends and family will be received Tuesday, February 21, 2017, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. OES Services will begin at 6:00 PM followed by a funeral service officiated by Pastor Timothy Paroz. Private inurnment will take place at West Cemetery in Palmyra following cremation.
