James Raymond Rinehart

Born January 8, 1960, he was the son of Paul and Wanda Rinehart. A lifetime resident of Portage County, living in Rootstown before moving to Ravenna. Jim graduated from Rootstown High School and Maplewood Career Center in 1978. He worked as an auto-diesel tractor mechanic of which he deeply loved and worked many years for Paul G. Mills, Leppo Equipment, and White’s machinery. Jim was large in stature but a gentle giant, always willing to help anyone.

He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife, Betty. Surviving also is his mother, Wanda Rinehart, his daughter, Sabrina Rinehart, his sister, Deborah Rinehart, his beloved dog, Sox and many family and friends.

James was preceded in death by his father, Paul Rinehart, his grandparents, and many other family members.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Jim’s life will occur at a later date.
