He was born in Ravenna, Ohio on August 15, 1947 to parents Elva (Newhouse) and Tracy Donald Ward.
James graduated from Ravenna High School in 1966. He worked briefly for Keith Anderson doing plumbing and then on to Lamb Electric (Ametek) working in the tool room, loaded trucks for Kroger warehouse, drove milk trucks for Marshall Thompson and Kenny Rufener, and retired from the warehouse of BFG Horticultural Supplies after working over 20 years. He especially enjoyed helping out driving tractors for Seidel Farms and anything farm related.
He will be missed dearly by friends and family: his wife Judy Ward, daughter, Erin (Frank) Shreve, grandson Frank Robert “Robbie” Shreve, son, Robert (Krystal Ricciardella); Henry (Tammy) Spriestersbach and Shawn.
James was preceded in death by his parents and twin brother, William Ward.
