She was born August 30, 1981, in Weirton, West Virginia, to parents Laurinda Taylor and Timothy Batton. Jennifer graduated from Southside Beaver High School in 1999 and was the cheerleading captain. She later enrolled at the Pittsburgh Culinary Institute. Jennifer loved music, dancing, and reading Stephen King novels. Most of all, she loved her family, especially her daughters.
Jennifer is survived by her daughters: Brooke Margaret Boyer and Meadow Grace Boyer, her mother Lauri Taylor of Ravenna, her father Tim (Maura) Batton of Canfield, and her siblings: Emily (J.D.) McHenry, Bryan Batton, Lance Batton, and Olivia Batton. She is also survived by her grandmother Jane Sullivan, niece Emma McHenry, nephew J.D. McHenry III, as well as many other loving extended family members and friends.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her brother Trevor Batton, her sister Maureen Batton, and her grandparents: Bob and Marilyn Taylor, Ralph Batton, and Bob Sullivan.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be celebrated by Reverend Dr. Peter Wiley at 1:00 PM on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at the First Congregational Church of Hudson, 47 Aurora Rd., Hudson, OH 44236. Final resting place will be Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown with graveside services on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
