She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on September 3, 1956. A graduate of Rootstown High School, Jennifer worked 17 years at the Summit County Board of DD, followed by 8 years at Walmart and Speedway. She had recently started a new job at Circle K.
Jennifer is survived by her daughter Jillian Showalter (and fiancé Mathew Fury) of Akron, sons: Thomas and George Hayden of Ravenna, former husband William Hayden of Ravenna, mother Rita (Edward) Phillips of Cullman, AL, father Kenneth (Sylvia) Smith of Brandon, FL, and sister Jean (Mark) McClung of Snow Camp, NC.
She was preceded in death by her brother Kenneth Smith Jr of Rootstown, and former husband James Showalter of Akron.
Cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
