JoAnne Caldwell Pearson

She was born April 7, 1939, in Akron, Ohio, a daughter of the late James and Inez (Howell) Caldwell. JoAnne was devoted to her family and a member of the Rootstown United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children: Eric (Colleen) Pearson of Troy, Ohio, Christine (Dan) Morris of Vandalia, Ohio, Karla Pearson of Mogadore, and Alicia Pearson of Lakewood. JoAnne is also survived by her grandchildren Dylan and Cassidy Morris, her brother David Caldwell, her sisters Faye Daniels, Nancy Caldwell, and Pat Nelson, as well as her dog Sammy.

In addition to her parents, JoAnne was preceded in death by her husband Paul Duane Pearson on September 3, 2010.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be officiated by Pastor Philip Raynes at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 15, 2012, at the Rootstown United Methodist Church, 4065 State Route 44, Rootstown, OH 44272. A time of fellowship will follow at the church. Final resting place will be at Hillside Memorial Park in Akron on a later date.
