Joe M. Gardner, 83, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019.

Joe was born in West Virginia to parents Eugene and Otia Lee (Berry) Gardner on August 16, 1936. He was the youngest child of thirteen. Joe had been retired from Union Camp in Solon where he worked as a corrugator. He enjoyed country music, working on cars and collecting guns. He especially liked squirrel hunting with his son-in-law Bernie White.

Surviving Joe are his three daughters: Leeotia (John) Seabol, Betty White and Penny Gardner. He also leaves grandchildren: Mike Lane, Andy (Ashley) Lane, Priscilla Lane, Lisa White, Matthew White, Christopher (Paige) White, Ben Reed, Barbie Reed, and great-grandchildren: Isabella Lane, Joshua Applegate, Noah Henry Reed and Penelope Rose White.

Joe was preceded by his parents, his 12 siblings, grandson Terry Reed Jr. and son-in-law Bernie White.

Friends will be received on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna from 11:00AM until the 12:00PM funeral service officiated by Pastor David Ballert. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Shalersville.
