John L Fitzpatrick

He was born August 22, 1932, in Big Sandy, Tennessee, a son of the late John and Jannie (Dowdy) Fitzpatrick. John retired from North American Manufacturing sixteen years ago. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in the Korean War and a member of the Deerfield American Legion. Mr. Fitzpatrick was a Past Master with the Ashlar Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and riding his four-wheeler.

Survivors include his daughter Kathy (Jerry) O’Bryant of Salem and his son Jerry Fitzpatrick of Deerfield; grandchildren: Robert (Lisa), Steven (Danette), and Daniel O’Bryant, Jeremy (Carla), Joshua, and Caleb Fitzpatrick; great-grandchildren: Matthew, Emily, Sophia, Colleen, Elizabeth, Johnathan, Aiden, and Bella.

John was preceded in death by his wife Elsie in 1999, his brothers Bill and Paul, and his sister Chris Stockdale.
