He was born December 15, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio, to parents William Louis Keller and Eleanor (Soboslay) Simecek. Jon worked as a project manager at Avid Technologies in Twinsburg.
Jon was an adventurous foodie who never met a meal or libation that he didnt like. He enjoyed shooting his guns, riding his Harley Davidson and later his trike after his health declined. Most of all, Jon cherished the time spent with his family and embraced the role of Super Duper Grandpa Keller.
Jon just celebrated his 39th marriage anniversary to his beloved wife Kathy Keller on March 10, 2018. She survives him, along with their children: William L. Keller of Louisiana and Eric M. (Tina) Keller of Marlboro Township; and grandchildren: Lizzy Lizmo, James Jimbo, Tommy Haus, and Timmy Timbo. Jon is also survived by his step-father Daniel Simecek Sr., sister Jan Keller, brother Chris Keller, along with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Friends and family will be received Saturday, March 24, 2018, from 9:30 11:00 AM, with a funeral service officiated by Pastor Mark Miller following at 11:00 AM at the Portage Community Chapel, 6490 State Route 14, Ravenna.
