Joretta E. Heiser

She was born June 30, 1931, in Texas County, Missouri, daughter of the late Wilbert and Goldie (Johnson) Williams. Joretta was a devoted homemaker who put family above all else. She also worked at Kroger’s and later at Gold’s Circle in Kent. Jo enjoyed oil painting, bowling, and attending the water aerobics class at the YMCA.

Surviving family members include her sons: Dennis (Toni) Brion of Atwater and Dale (Rita) Brion of Akron; daughter: Lisa Marshall of Ravenna; grandchildren: Mark, Steve, and William Brion, Johnathon and Joshua Marshall, Lisa Martin, Trish McCallister, Shawna Huskey, Josh Hunt, Chris Sherwood, and Jenna Bartlomain; great-grandchildren: Payton, Logan, Vinny, Landon, Kayla, Lauren, Zack, Makenna, Chloe, Riley, Reagan, Josie, Cade, and Jude; as well as her brothers: Willie (Shirley) Williams, Don (Sandra) Williams, and Steve (Evelyn) Williams.

Jo was preceded in death by her husbands, Luther Brion and Dale Heiser.
