Joseph Robert Brown, SR., 73 passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2014

Joseph was born in Maximo, Ohio on July 21, 1940 to parents Clarence and Edna Brown. Joe retired after 38 years of service from Goodyear Aerospace/Lockheed Martin in Akron. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, spending time with his family and camping at Bucket Hill. Joseph is survived by his wife Martha and his children: Jacqueline (Scott) Bennitt, Julie (Ray) Gardner, Joseph R. (Craig Demeter) Brown and Michelie (Harry) Carpenter. Surviving also are his grandchildren: Megan & Ray Ray Gardner, Ashlie & Benjamin Carpenter, Renee, Briana, Cheyene & Gabriella Bennitt and great-granddaughter Chloe Carpenter and future great-grandson Colton Carpenter. Joseph also leaves his sister Mary Jodon and many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family will receive friends at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, on Saturday, March 8,, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. until the 11:00 A.M. Memorial Service officiated by Pastor David Ballert. Inurnment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
