

Joseph was born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 6, 1945 to parents Frank and Mabel (Havlicek) Busta. He was retired after a long career as a plumber. Joseph was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army serving his country during the Vietnam conflict and a member of the Aurora VFW. He loved boating, fishing and camping. Family and friends were an important part of his life as well as a good, cold, Busch beer.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife and the strength in his life, Kaye (Lyman) Busta and their children: Troy (Siobhan) Busta, Tammi (Shawn) Head and Jamie (Adam) Walinski. He also leaves his grandchildren: Emma, Blake, Chase, Adam Jr., Branden, Gavin, Gemma, Sam and great-grandchildren: Aubree and Isabella. Left also to cherish his memory is his brother Charles Busta and sisters: Judy Wilson and Ginger Busta.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his loving daughter Joanna.
Friends will be received on Friday, June 21, 2019 at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, Ohio from 5:00pm until 8:00pm where funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 22 at 11:00am with Pastor Tim Kellogg officiating. Private family graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Hiram at later date.
