Joyce A. Cain

She was born January 29, 1938, in Sardis, Ohio, to parents Lawrence Allen and Edna Pearl (Beach) Jones. Joyce was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. She worked hard to provide for her family and was involved with all of their hobbies. She served as a 4H advisor and was known around area horse shows as “Mama Cain.” Joyce attended horse shows at Sun Beau for over 38 years.

Joyce is survived by her children: Darrell Cain, Raymond Cain, Candy (Tony) Alessi, and Janice (Mike) Santimarino, as well as her brothers Greg (Chuck) Jones and Tim (Carol) Jones and many nieces and nephews. Joyce’s memory will also be cherished by her 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, with one more on the way.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Raymond “Sonny” Cain on February 9, 1971. She was also preceded by her parents, her sister Dannette Fackler, and her brothers Larry and Duane Jones.

Joyce’s wishes for cremation are being honored. Please join her family for a celebration of Joyce’s life will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018, from 2:00 – 5:00 PM at Noah’s Ark Day Care, 4524 Lynn Rd., Rootstown, OH 44272.
