

She was born October 1, 1924, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, to parents Julius and Elizabeth (Charcandy) Ladanye. Julia was a devoted homemaker loving wife, proud mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Stars and enjoyed crocheting and playing cards. Julia also enjoyed sitting in her garage watching the wildlife in her yard and the cars on the road.
Julia is survived by her son Darrell (Jane) Cheuvront Jr., her daughter Sherry Dantone, her grandchildren: Jeff (Mary) Woolard, Mark Woolard, John (Shannon) Woolard, Jimmy (Renae) Dantone, Erika (Stephen) Porter, Melissa (Bud) Keener, Brian Cheuvront, Eric McKenzie, Holly McKenzie, her great-grandchildren: Abigal, Sydney, Carl III, Kaylee, Tiffany, Sam, James, her great-great-grandchildren: Skylar, Luke, Olivia, Jaxon, Carl IV “Jamie”, and one more on the way. She is also survived by her sister Caroline Ash, her son-in-law Leonard Woolard, along with many loving extended family members.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Darrell Cheuvront Sr., her daughters: Judy Elaine Cheuvront, Julia Diane Woolard, and Joyce McKenzie, her son-in-law Carl Dantone Sr., and her siblings: Elizabeth, Frank, Steve, and Mary Ellen.
Friends and family will be received Friday, October 27, 2023, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM with funeral services officiated by Pastor Scott Hindel at 12:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery in Paris Township.
