Karen Therese Boyd

Karen was born on March 28, 1964 in Akron, Ohio to parents Carl and Jeanne Celaschi. Karen was a great cook who enjoyed providing for her family. She loved photography and taking pictures, camping and being in the outdoors. Her music was important and enjoyed listening to it. Karen was a very nurturing woman, always taking great care of her family and others.

Karen is survived by her children: Corey Boyd, Christine Boyd and Andrew Boyd. Also surviving is her grandchild Nevaeh. She also leaves her mother Jeannne (Russ) Campbell and her siblings: David Celaschi, Debbie (Rick) Wright, Chris Celaschi, Jennifer (Mike) Hanft, Jon (Pam) Celaschi, and Steve (Heidi) Celaschi. Surviving also is her niece Jennie Celaschi and nephews’ Matthew and Christopher Celaschi.

Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory Boyd and her father, Carl E. Celaschi.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
