Kenneth Keeling Kennedy

Kenneth was born on November 27, 1926 to parents Robert H. and Ruby Kennedy. Kenneth was retired from the Goodyear Rubber Co. He was also one of the “Dustman Deputies” of the Portage County Sheriffs office. Kenneth was an avid gardener and loved flowers. If you ever received a letter from him, you received pictures of his flowers.

Kenneth is survived by his son: Tom (Gera) Kennedy and daughter: Joyce (Argeros) Beris. He is also survived by his sister: Nellie McBee. Surviving grandchildren are: Jeffrey Kennedy (Samantha Kubic), Jenny (Brian) Kennedy-Ollison, Andrew (Jamie) Beris, Gregory Beris, and Nicholas Beris. Also surviving is his great-grandchild: Noah Kennedy.

Kenneth was predeceased by his parents and his wife, Eileen.

Family will receive visitors on Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 10:00 A.M. until the 11:00 A.M. funeral service officiated by Pastor David Ballert at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St. Ravenna. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Ravenna.
