Kera Lemasters Leskovec

She was born July 10, 1989, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Denny and Deni (Leightner) Lemasters. Kera graduated from Southeast High School in 2008, and was a member of the cross country and basketball teams. She then continued her education at the University of Mount Union where she was a member of Alpha Xi Delta and Alpha Phi Omega. She went on to earn her Masters’ Degree from Bowling Green University. Kera has worked for Salem City Schools since 2012, where she became a full time math teacher in 2015.

Kera was a member of 4-H growing up and later became an advisor. She was proud of her group, Foxy Trotters, and looked forward to Fair Week each year.

On June 27, 2015, Kera married her beloved Kevin Joseph Leskovec, whom tragically passed away on August 20, 2021. They leave behind a beautiful baby daughter, Avalee C. Leskovec. Surviving also are her parents Denny and Deni Lemasters, her brother and sister-in-law Craig and Taylor Lemasters, her grandparents Don and Jean Leightner, her uncle Jeff Leightner, her aunt Debby Lemasters, as well as many loving cousins, extended family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Gene and Ann Lemasters.

Friends and family will be received Monday, November 8, 2021, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Portage Community Chapel, 6490 State Route 14, Ravenna, OH 44266, where funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Rich Hall on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Private burial will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph.
