She was born in Tyler County, West Virginia on April 3, 1937, to parents Albany H. and Asia Dell (Smith) Cumberledge. Linda had been an Ohio resident for 67 years and was primarily a homemaker with her family as her main focus.
Linda was a very caring and loving woman, an amazing wife, mom, grandma and great grandma and “world’s best mother-in-law”. She enjoyed flowers and had a green thumb. What she loved the most was spoiling her grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her husband of 68 years, William “Bill” Dotson. She also leaves her children Melissa Freund and Jeffrey (Melissa) Dotson, her grandsons Kevin Freund and Ryan Dotson and her great granddaughters Eleanor Freund and Lillian Freund. She is also survived by her sister Hester Britton and her nephew Michael Britton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
Private family services, officiated by Chaplain William Wisniewski, will be held at Edinburg Cemetery.
Her family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Ian Suzelis, staff and Reserve Care Hospice for the exceptional care given to Linda.
Memorial contributions in Linda’s name can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
