

Lyndon was born in Ravenna, Ohio on September 19, 1928 to parents Earl and Mary (Coy) Crooks. He was a graduate of Shalersville High School. Lyndon was a member of the Mission Baptist Temple in Stow for many years where he was an usher and enjoyed volunteering with the cleaning of the church. He was a very faith based person and loved talking about Jesus. He also enjoyed attending his bible study group at Kent Healthcare. Lyndon was a very bright, social person. Chemistry, science and history were of great interest to him.
Lyndon is survived by his sisters: Lolita (Bob) Dillie, Rosita (Harold) White, Dolores (Jerry) Andexler and his brother Lee Crooks. He also leaves his sister-in-law Mary Jane Crooks and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: Juanita (Herman) Bucklew, Ramona (Bill) Berger and Richard Crooks.
Friends will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna on Monday, October 19, 2015 from 10:00AM until the 11:00am funeral service officiated by Rev. James Christ. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
