She was born October 23, 1947, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Eugene “Tom” and Pauline (Foster) Workman. Margaret graduated from Akron University Law School with a doctorate Degree. She then worked for many years within the IT Department at Kent State University. Margaret was a worldwide traveler and a well known horse trainer. She started the 10th Cavalry 4-H Club when she was 19 years old, with 10 members. Margaret’s beacon was put out abruptly and to early.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Mary (Randy) Rice, her granddaughters: Lorelei Rice and Bethany Rice, her siblings: Jim (Pam) Workman, Mary Manthey, Sewer Workman, and Loraine Workman, as well as her step-mother Anita Workman. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Rose Workman.
