

She was born June 7, 1943, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Michael J. and Charlotte (Graening) Knapp. Martha loved music, and it was at the ABC Music Store that she met her future husband, Edward J. Vojtko. Six months later, they were married in Rosendale, New York and have celebrated 50 years of marriage.
In addition to her husband, Martha is survived by her children: Mary (Keith) Kinnan, Joe (Julie) Vojtko, and Janie (Jon) Sanders, her grandchildren: Katy Kinnan, Jack Vojtko, and Sarah Vojtko, as well as her brother Robert (Evelyn) Knapp, her sister-in-law Maxine Knapp, and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Donald, Paul, and Lester Knapp, her sisters Annabelle Knapp and Betty Wood.
Martha enjoyed life, and was such an unselfish person and she always made everyone feel comfortable around her. Martha battled lung disease for many years. She received a lung transplant in 2001 and cherished the additional time it gave her with her family and friends. This allowed her the opportunity to meet and spend quality time with her grandchildren. Martha enjoyed cooking, crocheting, golfing, bowling, gardening, playing cards, bingo, Yahtzee, and playing the accordion. She was well known for her fun, competitive spirit.
Friends will be received Monday, October 12, 2015, from 10:30 am – 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2643 Waterloo Rd., Mogadore, OH 44260. Reverend Thomas Acker, S.J., will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
