Martin B. McDaniel, 66, of Brimfield, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at University Hospital in Ravenna.

Martin was born in Rantoul, Illinois on June 16, 1952 to parents Harley N. and Doris E. McDaniel. He was retired from Chrysler Corp. after 30 plus years of service. Martin was a member of UAW Local #122. He enjoyed camping and fishing with his family and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.

Martin is survived by his daughter Tamara (Don) Takacs, step-son Christopher McDaniel and his grandchildren: Tyler, Jax, Cooper and Skylar. Also surviving is his father Harley McDaniel and his sister Brenda (Mark) Jones.

He was preceded in death by his mother Doris, his wife Rande McDaniel and his infant daughter Mandy.

Friends will be received on Saturday, August 4, 2018, from 11:00am until 12:00pm at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, Ohio where funeral services, officiated by Pastor David Rosenberger, will be held at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Brimfield Restland Cemetery.

I'm sorry I didn't know Marty had passed. Marty was one if my favorite cousins when we were kids. And now his dad has joined him. No more pain and sorrow Marty, you're in God's hands now.

To his children, I'm so very sorry for your loss. God bless you and hold you tight during this difficult time.
