Mary H. White

Mary passed away peacefully, April 27th, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larnch “Doc“ Shock, her parents, Bob and Julia Weaver, brother, Frank Chanowski (Debbie) and sister-in-law, Linda Weaver (Ron) and brother-in- law, Everette Van Hoose (Pat).

She is survived by her children, Julie Jarvis (Harold) and Michael Jarvis (Carol), grandchildren and great-grandchildren in order of birth: Tara Colley (Chris), Amber Jarvis (Brett), Ryan Mazzochi, Kyle Jarvis, Annie Jarvis, Kyla Grace, Mattie Jarvis, Jack Jarvis, Angelique Grace, Abby Jarvis, Zane Mazzochi, and Jenson Jarvis. Her sister, Pat Van Hoose (Everette), Brothers, Joe Weaver (Margie), Rick Weaver (Connie), and Ron Weaver (Linda). Numerous nieces and nephews and her best friend, Sandra Brothers.

She retired at 77 years old from Hometown Bank in Kent, Ohio. She loved her customers, who would wait to be waited on by her even though other lines were empty. She loved bragging about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She belonged to many local organizations. She will be missed all, especially her children.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, from 10 am to 12 pm. Funeral Service, officiated by Pastor David Ballert, will begin at 12pm. Interment at Homeland Cemetery in Rootstown, Ohio, will follow.
