Matthew was born November 5, 1987 in Ravenna, Ohio to parents Barry and Diana Whitacre. He attended Maplewood Vocational School learning precision machining. Matthew was someone who really loved life. He enjoyed music, played guitar and absolutely loved skateboarding. Matthew had thousands of friends and enjoyed time spent with them. He is now at home with the Lord.
Matthew is survived by his parents and his older brother Aaron Whitacre. Surviving also are his grandparents Russell and Louise Whitacre, his aunts Ruth Turner, Debbie Sellars, and Tina Quealsch, and his cousins Dru, Austin, Francis, Jason, and Aaron. He will also be sadly missed by his friends and all who knew him.
No services are scheduled and a Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date.
