Nancy Lou Bishop

Nancy was a truly generous, kind, and loving woman whose warmth touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her love was genuine, her kindness was endless, and her compassion knew no bounds. She will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the lives she touched, and the beautiful memories she leaves behind. Her presence may be gone, but her love and kindness will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 36 years Gary Bishop, her son Terry Weahry and her brother Larry Weahry.

She will be greatly missed by her daughters Teresa (Rick) Snyder and Trina (Michael) Nichols; beloved grandchildren: Becky (Mike) Jacobs, Matt Snyder, Brandon (McKenzie) Snyder, Josh (Julie) Chaney, Chris Nichols, and Heather Chaney; as well as her loving great-grandchildren, her sister Tammy (Jim) Lance, her brothers: Jerry Messenger and Bob (Kim) Weahry and all of her grand dogs.

Friends and family will be received Friday, August 21, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E Main St, Ravenna, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Edinburg Cemetery.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Crossroads Hospice for their devoted support and compassion. The family would also ask in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Edinburg Firefighters Association, 6727 Tallmadge Rd, Rootstown, OH 44272.
