She was born October 10, 1921, in Akron, Ohio, to the late John Thomas and Marjorie R. (Hodges) Whitefield.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband Gale Davis, son John James Davis, brothers Thomas R. Whitefield and Jack W. Whitefield.
Norma attended Betty Jane School, graduated from Kent State High School in 1940, and graduated from Hammel Business College in 1941. She later worked at Twin Coach as a secretary in 1942 for 5 years.
Norma and Gale loved to golf, bowl, and walk miles each day to stay fit. She had many friends from their camping days.
Norma leaves behind her daughter Deborah (Frank) Chanowski, grandsons Kevin Chanowski, and John A. (Heather) Davis, as well as great-granddaughters Gabrielle and Chloe Davis, and her many nieces nephews.
