

She was born May 18, 1945, in Pasadena, California to parents Norman Halstead Tolman and Racheline Elizabeth (Furrow) Tolman, and was raised in Anchorage, Alaska. Norma worked with her husband, Raymond at his business, Classic Cars in Oakwood Village. Norma enjoyed painting, crocheting, and was an avid reader. She loved animals, and also loved playing poker and bingo.
Norma is survived by her children: Racheline A. Davison of Rootstown, Colleen Sykora-Chase of Arlington, WA, Norman Halstead Sykora of Newark, OH, and Dusty Sykora of Central Point, Oregon; her grandchildren: Racheline E. Davison, Raymond Davison, Norman Sykora, Jaret Sykora, Brandon Sykora, Tom Chase, Doug Chase, Luke Chase, Kellen Sykora, Justin Melson, Tesa Sykora, and Kati Sykora; as well as her great-grandchildren: Lily, Lucy, Emmaline, Kobe, Dysin, Dane, and Nathaniel. Norma’s memory will also be cherished by her sisters Racheline Harriet (Michael) Hall and Judee (Larry) Smith, and her many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond George Sykora, her parents, and her brother Charles Edward Harden.
Friends will be received Tuesday, October 8, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where Pastor David Ballert will officiate the funeral service at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 9, 2013. Interment will be with her husband at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman on Wednesday at 1:45 PM.
