He was born January 9, 1932, in Hamm, Germany, a son of the late Ervin and Emma Wolff. Otto moved the United States 1954 and served in the US Army during the Korean War. He retired as a welder with the Upjohn Pharmaceutical Company. Otto was a member of the German American Family Society of Brimfield. He enjoyed the outdoors, raising his whitetail deer and was also a beekeeper. Otto was affectionately known as “Oppi” to his grandkids, who he dearly loved.
Otto is now reunited with his beloved wife Mary (Stolmayer) Wolff. He was also preceded in death by his son Robert Wolff.
He is survived by his son Eddy (Gay) Wolff Sr., brother Werner (Henrietta) Wolff, grandchildren: Eddy (Shannon) Wolff Jr., Sara (Keith) Porter, and Brian Wolff, as well as his 4 great-grandchildren: Shylo, Emma, Lily, and Tehya.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial dinner will be held for family and friends on Sunday, December 16, 2012, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the VFW Post 1055 Hall, 6000 New Milford Rd., Ravenna, OH 44266.
