She was born April 29, 1952, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Jack and Marian (Hall) Fisher. Pamela graduated from James A. Garfield High School in Garrettsville. She worked as a secretary for Robinson Memorial Hospital, Akron Children’s Hospital, Edwin Shaw, and retired from Ohio Job and Family Services. Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Pam was a devoted member of St. Joseph Parish. She volunteered with the St. Vincent de Paul Society and the Randolph-Suffield-Atwater Food Shelf. Pam enjoyed traveling and hosting family and friends at their farm. She always made sure that everyone was well fed when they visited, and paid special attention to spoiling the grandkids.
Pam is survived by her husband of over 29 years Charlie Wise, her children: Jessica (Scott) Fuller, Tessa (Stephen) Weaver, Beth (Seth) Richardson, Monica (Ike) Holzapfel, Petrina Bishop, and Sarah (Dean) Steinel; brothers: Terry and Dan Fisher; and her mother-in-law Mary Lou Wise, as well as many friends, nieces, nephews, and extended family. MeeMaw’s memory will also be cherished by her grandchildren: Amelia, Matthew, Aleena, Arissa, Kyle, Ashton, Tad, Drew, Reid, Lilly, Aidan, Malana, and Marianne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law William H. Wise, her sister-in-law Holly Fisher, and her grandson Nicholas.
Friends and family will be received Wednesday, April 11, 2018, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend Thomas S. Acker, S.J., on Thursday at 10:30 AM, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2643 Waterloo Rd., Mogadore. (Please meet at the church). Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
