Patricia R. McKenzie

Born on March 18, 1947, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of Isabelle (Donahey) and Griffith Jones. She was married for 50 years to the late Ralph McKenzie.

Retiring after 35 years as the superintendent’s administrative assistant at Southeast Local Schools, Pat cherished the amazing friendships that she made during her career. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Pat’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She loved her dogs, antiques, and flowers. She enjoyed sitting outside on the porch and loved the time she was able to spend in Pensacola, Florida as a snowbird.

Pat will be dearly missed by her children: Heather McKenzie (Bill Greathouse) and Heath (Kristy) McKenzie. Grandchildren: Alec Deremer (Kayleigh Potts), Zach (Emily) McKenzie, Ashley McKenzie (Colton Hart) and Chris Greathouse, great-grandchildren: Mason DeRemer, Deklyn Potts, and Everett McKenzie. She is also survived by her brothers: Mark (Debbie) Jones and Matt (Sue) Jones, Goddaughter: Isabelle Jones (Trenton Feasel), as well as many other loving family members and close friends.

The McKenzie Family is deeply grateful for the loving care provided by the staff at Vista Veranda and Affinity Hospice.

Honoring Patricia’s wishes, no calling hours or funeral service will be held.
