Patricia was born in Akron, Ohio on January 26, 1949 to parents Herbert Carlyle and Ann Marie (Yen) McGovern. Patricia had been retired as the human resource manager from K-Mart Corp. after more than 30 years of service. She was an avid reader, enjoying anything “Danielle Steele” novels, making crafts, especially Christmas decorations and had a “green thumb”, nurturing many houseplants and outdoor flowers that brought her joy. Patricia also loved taking trips to Vegas and Myrtle Beach.

Patricia is survived by her son Mark (Kristina) Baker and her brothers John (Cindy) McGovern, Herbert (Sandy) McGovern and many loving nieces and nephews.

Her husband Raymond Reese and her sister Shirley McGovern preceded her in death.

Per Patricia’s wishes, cremation has been honored and a memorial service, officiated by Pastor Kenneth Kline is planned for Thursday, April 8, 2021, at 5:00pm in the chapel at West Cemetery in Palmyra. Inurnment with her parents will follow.
