Paul Drotar Jr.

Paul was born in Ravenna, Ohio on September 16, 1940 to parents Paul and Sadie (Young) Drotar. Paul had been retired from Wonder Bread in Akron after a career as a maintenance mechanic. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam and had attended the First Christian Church in Ravenna. Over the years Paul enjoyed his involvement with HAM radio. He was a great guy and everybody who knew him loved him. Paul was a really loving father.

Paul is survived by his daughters: Lisa (Chad Rach) Drotar, Jennifer (Jason) Heeter, Brittany Mayle and his granddaughter Abigail Paige Heeter. He also leaves his former wife Theresa Moore, his sister Alice (Dale) Green, his brother Bill (Trina) Drotar and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St. Ravenna, Ohio on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 11:00AM until the 12:00PM memorial service officiated by Dennis Shawhan. Inurnment with full military honors will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
