Paul Francis Krieger

He was born August 10, 1947, in Akron, Ohio, to parents Elizabeth (Linde) and Leo. L. Krieger Sr. Paul was a devoted member of St. Peter of the Fields Parish, where he worked countless hours on maintaining the church building and property. He graduated from Randolph High School in 1965, and retired as a machinist from the Goodyear Mold Plant in Stow in 2003.

Paul was a hardworking man who always found a way to keep himself busy. He was never afraid to take anything apart, just to see if he could put it back together. His hobbies included golf, bowling, and woodworking. Paul also enjoyed cooking and baking, and was famous for his homemade fudge. Most of all, he cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years Judith (Jahn) Krieger and their children: Gregory (Laura) Krieger, Tracie (Michael) Roberts, and Scott (Sara) Krieger. His memory will also be cherished by his grandchildren: Lauren and Allison Krieger, Nickolas and Elise Roberts, Hutton, Shelbie, and Cecilia Krieger; as well as his siblings: Maryann (Ray) Coury, Leo (Judy) Krieger Jr., Richard (Carol) Krieger, Susan (Gary) Bodenstadt, his twin brother Peter (Cheryl) Krieger, and Helen (Dennis) Haney, along with many loving nieces and nephews.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Martha Bryan, and his brother-in-law Art Bryan.

Cremation has taken place and friends will be received Wednesday, April 29, 2015, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at St. Peter of the Fields Catholic Church, 3487 Old Forge Rd., Rootstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend David Misbrener on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the church. Inurnment will follow at St. Peter of the Fields Cemetery.
