Phyllis was born in Cordell, Kentucky on August 20, 1936 to parents Morton and Beatrice (Berry) Greene. Phyllis was a beautiful and pleasant person to be around. She was quick witted and had a great sense of humor. Phyllis was an expert at crocheting, making many afghans over the years and winning awards for her entries at the Portage County Fair. She loved to travel and enjoyed wintering with her husband Richard in Florida. Phyllis enjoyed feeding the many birds in her backyard and watching the squirrels.
Phyllis is survived by her children: D (Kelly) LeMaster, Susan Vanderlaan, Karen (Mike) Mariana, Rick (Becky) LeMaster and step-children: Becky Perkins, Brenda Brown, Brian Tannert and Danyell Tannert. She also leaves her 25 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 8 siblings.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, her parents, her son Kenneth “Kim” LeMaster, sons-in-laws John Vanderlaan and Carl Brown, her granddaughter Kimberly Vanderlaan and her two brothers Donald and Veldon.
Friends and family will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St. Ravenna, on Friday, March 23, 2018 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Funeral services will follow at 7:00pm.
