

Ray was born on August 12, 1936, in Climax, Pennsylvania to parents Curtis “Pete” and Nellie C. (LaBorde) Nulph. Mr. Nulph was a machinist at Wean United in Warren and retired from Maplewood Vocational School as a machines trade teacher.
He attended Victory Baptist Temple in Brimfield for many years. He was an avid golfer and loved sports in general, especially football and baseball. Ray was a loving husband and caregiver to his wife Carol until her death in 2021. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ray is survived by his children Mitch (Christi) Nulph, Martine (Ivan) Smith, Ken (Donna) DeLancey, Allen (Malinda Bailey) DeLancey and Mike DeLancey. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Ray was preceded in death by his mother and father, daughter Rhonda Nulph, his two brothers Clair and Lewis Nulph; and three sisters, Norma Nulph, Shirley (Nulph) Greenawalt and Cleda (Nulph) Miller.
Family will receive friends at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, Ohio, on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 12pm until the funeral service, officiated by Pastor Chuck Whetsel, beginning at 1pm. Private inurnment will take place at Jackson Township Cemetery.
