I was very sorry to learn that Rion had passed away.  My brother gave me the sad news when he was here recently to attend my husband's memorial service on April 15. My sincere sympathy goes out to you and your family.

My deepest sympathy to Rion's family. The larger family of Goodyear Aerospace/Loral/Lockheed Martin have always enjoyed her enthusiam for life and her generous spirit. We were looking forward to her joining the Retirees' group for lunch each month. We will miss her smile and enthusiam for life. May she rest in eternal peace.

What a shock to hear of Rion's death.  We always looked forward to visiting with her at the Randolph Alumni Dinner every Spring.   She had an infectious smile and all who knew her loved her.  What a shame that she just retired and didn't really get a chance to enjoy herself.  She is with the angels now.

Dear Ernie and Family,

I know it will not ever be the same without the ones that have left us, but we sure have great memories. There will never be another like my Aunt Onie. She was present for every major life event...and those not so major. She was always there and we loved it! It wasn't a party until Aunt Onie was there! She was so kind, thoughtful, and generous. I adored her and will miss her greatly, but I know that Aunt Onie, my dad, and many others are having quite a party up there! She leaves some very empty flip-flops down here though! Love you all.

Truly shocked to hear of Rion's passing - she was a special person to so many.  I can't imagine the Randolph Alumni Banquet without her smiling face at the sign in table.   You will be missed dear lady.

Rion was always someone that you could feel her comfort, love, and warmth in every hug. I remember as a child, that I always loved going to their farm, and especialy at Christmas. Rion was also so kind, loving, and would do anything for you. I now have a family of my own who also has many great memories of her.  We will miss Rion so much. Our prayers are with you.

Dear Family,

Onie has been my dearest friend for nearly 60 years.  I have never known a kinder, more loving friend.  She has been a "family member" to all my family, and "Aunt Onie" to every child.  She rocked my babies and bought them their first pair of shoes when they learned to walk.  I can't imagine life without her, but what a retirement home she has now!  God's Blessings to All! Rion will be sorely missed. I enjoyed her zeal and willingness to help her fellow employees whenever needed.  I was looking forward to her many years of retirement and association with the Lockheed Martin retirement group. We will miss her effervescent personality very much.

For the past 30 years it has been a pleasure knowing Rion. She was a very pleasant, kind, professional friend. Her smile always lit up the room and her talent with crafts was remarkable. While our son was growing up, Rion always invited our family to her Christmas open house.  It was so much fun going through the beautifully decorated rooms and enjoying the company of Rion along with her family, friends, and co-workers.  It was an event we looked forward to each year.

Rion’s involvement in so many activities made her such an interesting and fun person to know.  The yearly growing and measurement of the amaryllis bulb at work and her pranking of “my dogs are barking”, along with visits to the Portage County Randolph Fair are just a few of our fond memories.  Her generosity and good nature will always be remembered.  Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with her family.  May the many wonderful memories you shared with Rion bring you comfort in the days ahead.
