November 26th, 1961, in Tucson, Arizona, to Robert Tilden and Karen Jean (nee Siemund)
Berryhill.
As the son of an Air Force family, Bob’s childhood was shaped by frequent moves. He landed in
Colorado, where he met his future wife, Mary Stewart. They were married on July 14th, 1984.
They built a life over 41 years in Cleveland, Ohio, which included six beautiful children and, now,
five sweet grandchildren.
As a successful and creative real estate developer, Bob brought energy and innovation to every
project he touched. In recent years, he immersed himself in creating Amish furniture websites
and befriending entire communities in the Great Lakes region.
Bob’s love for food was legendary. He was the guy who believed in Christmas enchiladas and
Saturday runs to The Hot Dog Shoppe. He loved hosting big family cookouts, making his special
tacos, and “secret sauce” spaghetti that filled so many with laughter and love.
A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Bob served throughout
his life, including a two-year mission in Argentina and later as a caretaker of the Church’s
historic Johnson Farm in Hiram, Ohio.
He was a fierce friend to many and greatly embodied serving others.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife Mary (nee Stewart) Berryhill, children: Robert P. Berryhill,
John Berryhill, Rebecca (Michael) Hoffman, Kendall Berryhill, Samuel (Emily) Berryhill, and
Brynn (Dallin) Zohner, grandchildren: Oakley Hoffman, Virginia Berryhill, Charlotte Berryhill,
Shepherd Zohner, and Beckham Berryhill, as well as his parents, Robert and Karen Berryhill,
and his sisters Lisa (Jeremy) Herdje and Dawna (Kyle) Covey.
Friends and family will be received Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM with
funeral service at 12:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 6149 Pioneer
Trail, Hiram, OH 44234. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Hiram.
