Robert Blank

Robert graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in nursing. He worked as a nurse for several years. Due to health issues, he was no longer able to continue working in nursing. At the time of his passing, he was employed by PARTA.

Robert appreciated the peace and solitude of spending time on his own. He found enjoyment in gardening and caring for his plants. He also loved cooking, was an avid reader, and was a devoted Star Trek fan. Above all, Robert loved his family. He especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews and was a very proud uncle. His family held a special place in his heart, and the time he spent with them meant a great deal to him.

Robert is survived by his sisters, Deanna (Jim) Hartman and Shellie Hamrick. He also leaves behind his nephew, Owen Hamrick; nieces, Sophia and Isabella Hartman; aunt, Roberta Ricks; uncle Mark Vaughn; and cousins, Todd Ricks, Jodie Ricks, Kenny Miller, and Tracie Fitzgerald.

He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Delores "Dee" and Leonal Hamrick; grandparents, Robert and Delores Vaughn; uncles, Bobby Vaughn and Kenneth Ricks; aunt, Shirley Price; and cousin, Sherri Meredith.

Robert's wishes for cremation are being honored, and no formal services are planned.
